tumeroll Posted August 28, 2006 #1 Share Posted August 28, 2006 Curent projections for tropical storm Ernesto put it off New York Harbor Satuday 9/2. So where do you think the Dawn will head - North or South and will the Crown also head south or out to Bermuda?
smeyer418 Posted August 28, 2006 #2 Share Posted August 28, 2006 They will go as scheduled. It may be rough or delayed getting to where they are going but not by more than a day....Hurricaines tend to move quickly up this way... http://152.80.49.216/tc-bin/tc_home.cgi this is the US MIlitary prediction
erntrish Posted August 28, 2006 #3 Share Posted August 28, 2006 The NOAA predicts the center of the storm will be <200 miles from NY Harbor, and will have been downgraded to a tropical depression by then. I would anticipate that no changes will occur unless drastic course alterations take place in the storm

The one I saw has it going out from the outer banks to the Ocean....which would stir it up a little. I think the later modeling shows it inland.... It's the first of the Canada/New England trips. Just like the weather to change, Ernesto is now projected to go north and west of Buffalo by early next week.
