Where will the Dawn and the Crown go this weekend?

Curent projections for tropical storm Ernesto put it off New York Harbor Satuday 9/2. So where do you think the Dawn will head - North or South and will the Crown also head south or out to Bermuda?

They will go as scheduled. It may be rough or delayed getting to where they are going but not by more than a day....Hurricaines tend to move quickly up this way...

The NOAA predicts the center of the storm will be <200 miles from NY Harbor, and will have been downgraded to a tropical depression by then. I would anticipate that no changes will occur unless drastic course alterations take place in the storm

Why would it be that rough? The storm on your link is in western Maryland on the 2nd. It goes inland on the 31st.

The one I saw has it going out from the outer banks to the Ocean....which would stir it up a little. I think the later modeling shows it inland....

Actually the Dawn is heading north on this cruise. It's the first of the Canada/New England trips.

 

Just like the weather to change, Ernesto is now projected to go north and west of Buffalo by early next week.
