kathyjack Posted July 12, 2004 #26 Share Posted July 12, 2004 We cruised with our daughter and her family several years ago. At that time, their daughter was 2 years old. The waiters and matre' D's absolutely loved her. They treated her like she was a little princess. Waiters were constantly coming over and singing with her and asking her to color pictures for them. They'd have a plate of watermellon waiting for her everynight. She loved meal time! The wait staff are on the ships for long lengths of time and miss their own children, so they really give kids a lot of attention. We just went with the flow and all of us had a great time watching them cater to her. We are going again in January and she is now 7, we wouldn't think to not include her with us at mealtime. Give it a try - you might be surprised.
HOSKI Posted July 13, 2004 #27 Share Posted July 13, 2004 I'm glad the recent posters have decided to get this thread back on track with the dining issue not about if children should be on cruises. Thanks guys!!!!!!
