Golf Club Rental-POH

Just curious if anyone has ever rented golf clubs while on the POH cruise. My husband is planning to bring his...I've heard the shop charges $40.00 to rent them which is fine. Our son doesn't plan to play as many days as my husband. Does anyone know the average cost for renting clubs?

At the Wailea courses (on Maui) club rental is $30 a day. Last time I golfed there they were using Callaways. Much nicer clubs than I actually own. Maybe that's why I did so well. :-)
