room 8248 & Beach Carnival ???

Hello everyone,

I have 2 questions I hope someone can help me. Frist is we are staning on the 8th floor room 8248 on the ship the DESTINY do you hear anything from the Lido deck? My other is has anyone done the Beach Carnival in Barbados?

I just got back from the Legend and I was staying in 8259 right below the Lido deck. I was worried when I first booked the room because of the possibility of being noise but there was absolutely none. In fact it was very convenient since all I had to do was walk up one floor and get to the food and the music. Enjoy!

We always stay on deck 8 on every cruise, the destiny is the only ship that i have never heard any noise coming from above.

Have fun, oh in Barbados, i would just suggest that you take a taxi to the boatyard, its alot cheaper and you will have way more fun.

Thanks so much Craibbean Dreams Last yr we took a cab to the beach next to the boatyard. Love it :D Well we just love Barbados this will be our 3rd time.Last yr we had the beach carnival book but the ship canceled, so we thinking of trying it again ;)
