Ok, what a great cruise, thank you Carnival.

First, Carnival & CVC(Carnival Vacation Club) notified me that the Sensation would be delayed in departure due to Ernesto. However, thankfully Ernesto for FL did not turn into much and the Sensation was able to get into port on time.

We flew into Tampa Wed, the 30th and rented a car 1 way to Port Canaveral. We drove to Orlando and stayed the night. The car rental, to Port Canaveral cost around $56.00 and From Port Canaveral to Tampa $86.00 We arrived at Port Canaveral to return the car, and were shuttled to the port (ALL CAR RENTAL Companies we inquired perform this service there and back) We arrived at the port at about 1pm. CVC(Carnival Vacation Club) perks came in handy, we were able to skip the line outside and use the VIP line and zipped up to check in. This was nice as there was a private office off to the side where we checked in. After that we were escorted to the embarkation photo and from there we walked onboard. We went straight to our room which was sill being prepped and were allowed to drop off our carry-ons , Jantra our room steward was just fantastic! She went out of her way to make my 2 year son have a good time and made up the couch into a bed and used the cushions so he would not roll off.

After that, we went to the lido deck and had lunch, the food was great and had no problems with food throughout the cruise.

Break down to simplify:

ROOM: fantastic, CAT 11. Very clean, no problems.

FOOD: great!

WAITERS: fantastic, Agus was great.

SHIP: Very clean and the crew was fantastic, no issues whatsoever.

CASINO: Tom&Cheryl (cruise critic members), THANK YOU FOR A GREAT TIME!

NASSAU: I will post on this in the Bahamas Forum as we chose to do the Atlantis via getting a room to use the all of the facility.

CVC(carnival vacation club): All perks promised were delivered, thanks CVC.

Ok I have capers and a couple other docs that I will scan and post for those interested.

Hi, Mr. Bit, Sorry we didn't ge to meet up!! Hope you guys had as great a time on the Sensation as we did!

The one thing that I wish I had know was that the power strip should have been two prongs and NOT three! I kept having to plug up one curling iron at a time!:D And the blow dryer would not work in the bath plug so DH and I had to take turns trying to get ready for dinner that way.

Other than that everything on the Sensation was SENSATIONAL!!:)
