Day rooms in Miami

Hey all ... just wondering if anyone knows of any hotels/motels in Miami that rent day rooms out to those people that have late flights home after the cruise ??? If so could you maybe pass along some ideas or info on where I would find this information? Thanks in advance. ;)

Miami International Airport Hotel does a good rate on day rooms. it is located by concourse E inside the airport. phone number 3058714100

Thanks.... will look into that.. I was wondering though if there would be any located on South Beach ? So we can utilize the beach for the day.. our flight isn't until 9pm the day we come back.... ?:(

We just returned from the Navigator and was approached by a gentleman asking if we needed a day room in Miami.Since our flight was not leaving until 8 that evening we took him up on his offer.We met him after we disembarked he drove us to the Marriot in South beach we payed him 8 dollars per person cab ride and when we got to the marriot we were charged 2 dollars per luggage to store them.It worked out great we went to the beach and did some sight seeing and shopping.He had left us his card so we called him around 5 and he came back to the marriot and picked us up.Please note that we were not allowed to use the rooms at the hotel but at least we made the most of the day and we just prepared ourselves for anything we might have needed for that day.When you leave the ship you will see people asking if you need a day hotel.Hope this helps.

Wow..thanks for that bit of info...I know we will have a long day when we disembark along with all our luggage so we either store it at the airport somewhere or find a room to relax and put our things. We were planning on doing the airboat through the everglades but it goes at 7:30am and we would never make that. So beach or airport it is... hope we can find something.. there will be 9 of us. YIKES:eek:
