I've read a thread where someone got stung by a jellyfish at sunset beach then I saw a video someone posted from their recent visit to sunset beach and a picture of a jellyfish was on there.

Are there lots of jellyfish there? Is it common to get stung there while in the ocean??

we were in Jamaica last year and didn't see any jellyfish, in fact, i've never seen jellyfish anywhere but galveston and florida.

anyone know???? Fill me in!!!

There was only one big jellyfish that I saw while snorkeling at Sunset Beach. One in our CC group was stung by some jellyfish remain and was treated no problem. Search and check out one of the review by Medic 4 2 long Conquest August 13-20. It was not a big deal and we were snorkeling away from the beach past the rock pier.
