MNYTRPS2GO2 Posted September 9, 2006 #2 Share Posted September 9, 2006 If anyone is on this current Sea Princess cruise please give us an update - the ships bridge cam is stuck on Sept 6th "At Sea to Akureyri, Iceland". I was wondering the same thing. I have friends on her and I like to follow their path. I just realized it was stuck. I couldn't imagine what they would be doing there for 3 days!!! scots Posted September 9, 2006 Author #3 Share Posted September 9, 2006 Me too - and I called 1-800 Princess and they said that they can't do anything about it! I will have to call next week and speak with a manager. However, that doesn't help me now and it figures this one is the only one stuck all the other bridge cams are correct! scots Posted September 10, 2006 Author #5 Share Posted September 10, 2006 That is why I started this whole thread - as the came is stuck or "frozen" and wondered if anyone out there was on that cruise.

Cruisin Sal Posted September 10, 2006 #7 Share Posted September 10, 2006 What would you like to know? We were in Isafjordur yesterday. It was cold enough to freeze anyone. There was a dusting of snow on the tops of the fjords, then rainbows.
Rare English Tim Posted September 10, 2006 #8 Share Posted September 10, 2006 That is why I started this whole thread - as the came is stuck or "frozen" and wondered if anyone out there was on that cruise. I did mean frozen by ice, rather than a computer glitch!
scots Posted September 11, 2006 Author #9 Share Posted September 11, 2006 I was finally able to connect with someone at 1-800 PRINCESS and they assured me that their systems department has now been advised and should have this webcam fixed sometime today. scots Posted September 11, 2006 Author #10 Share Posted September 11, 2006 Cruisin Sal - thanks for the update! Those are the kinds of images I had hoped to have been able to catch on the bridge cam when you guys sailed through there. How has the cruise been? Cruisin Sal Posted September 14, 2006 #11 Share Posted September 14, 2006 The internet has been down more than it has been up. Today we are on the way to St. John's. I don't know what Florence will do to us. Yesterday was a nice, calm day. This morning it is a bit rough. The ports have been interesting and different. The weather has been cold and damp. ALB0711 Posted September 14, 2006 #12 Share Posted September 14, 2006 The Bridge Cam is back up now. It looks to be a nice day in St Johns! Sure wish we could have seen Greenland and Iceland. I'm hoping someone on this voyage posts a review. We will be doing a similar route next September on the Grand. Allen
NZYU Posted September 16, 2006 #13 Share Posted September 16, 2006 I put a few updates on http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=155900&page=9 which is the original roll call board for that cruise. Sydney (Nova Scotia) is suppose to be in the seventies tomorrow.
