Hi everyone,

My mum would like to know at dinner is it possible to order a glass of wine or do you have to buy it by the bottle? We are not big drinkers and would not be able to polish off a whole bottle between the two of us. :p

Hi, you may buy just a glass of wine at dinner time. but it is house wine only..... red or white.

My mum and I aren't really big drinkers, but we decided to have a glass of wine, as a treat at the first formal night. It worked out to be about $15 for a glass:eek: . On the last night we decided to buy a bottle to share with out tablemates from Ireland. It cost $35US, and of course it was an Australian wine.:D

btw Past It when do you leave for your big trip?? You'll be on the same ship I was on last October. You will have a blast.

I had a glass (good size) of Brown Brothers white wine at dinner, cost about $6 from memory

That's right. You can get Brown Brother's Cruchen Reisling by the glass in all of the bars, including the dining room. But as aussiedisneyfan said, you can by a bottle in the restuarant and they'll keep it for you - works out cheaper.

I had a glass of wine every night at dinner & occasionally I had 2. I never bothered buying the bottle because personally I didn't think it worked out much cheaper. I drink quite a lot of wine & I bought only one bottle in 11 days & that was on Island night because I figured it would be easier than ordering a drink every so often (because we were in the same spot all night). Most other times, we were going from bar to bar so thought it would be easier to buy it by the glass. Remember, you only get 4-5 glasses of wine per bottle & at $26 a bottle, that works out at about $4-75 a glass. To buy a glass of wine was $5.50. A bit dearer but not a lot. And a glass of bubbly was only $4-75 (which I drank most of the time).
