baltimorebarb Posted July 11, 2004 #1 Share Posted July 11, 2004 Hi- We are leaving in a few weeks for a western mediterranean cruise on Celebrity's Millenium. What should my 3 year old sons wear on formal night? casual night? Can they wear shorts for tours of churches? How about on shore in general? barbara
mandm1 Posted July 16, 2004 #2 Share Posted July 16, 2004 The guidelines for clothing provided by the lines are for all ages. If your sons will be dining with you in the dining room on formal night, then they should be in suits or tuxedos. On other nights, a little pair of khaki pants and a dress shirt (smart casual nights) and tie or a polo type shirt for casual would be appropriate. As for shorts when touring churches... I would think that would depend on culture and denomination. I would try to contact someone in the area (the churches or visitor centers) to find out what would be deemed appropriate. By the way, with our kids, we have always shopped the thrift stores for formal clothing as they grow so quickly that it rarely even looks to have been worn once. Have a great time!
