BEATSWORKING Posted September 12, 2006 #1 Share Posted September 12, 2006 Just wondering - if one is to take a few liquid refreshments in their luggage does it need to be in the checked luggage as required now by the airlines? Or can we still put that in our carry on? Any ideas? For those that do decide to put anything like this in checked luggage, I'm sure we will ALL be careful to enclose it in ziploc bags...

TheEngineer Posted September 12, 2006 #3 Share Posted September 12, 2006 If your liquid refreshment is of the alcoholic variety, put it in your checked luggage. It will be taken away in your carryon. Bubble wrap and plastic bags are your friends as well. Non-alcoholic can go anyway you want.
wraithe Posted September 12, 2006 #4 Share Posted September 12, 2006 A quick search revealed the following threads that have debated this topic ad nauseum: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=410130&highlight=alcohol, http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=409304&highlight=alcohol, http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=410509&highlight=alcohol, http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=403823&highlight=alcohol.
