Miami/FtLauderdale Question???

We are on the Majesty of the Seas (RCI) in October. We sail out of Miami but we have to fly into FtLauderdale...my question is what is the best way to get from FL airport to Miami? Is there a shuttle, or is a taxi my best bet...all things considered, would renting a car be less expensive?

What do ya'll think? Any suggestions would help. Due to our airline ticket options (flying non-rev) we have to fly standby:eek: , so we will be flying in the day before we sail, and flying into Miami is not an option...

Help!!!:)

Car rental would be most economical. Next best is Tri-County Airport Express. No reservations required. A shared ride shuttle runs $18 per person.

When you arrive at the airport, collect your luggage and go outside the baggage claim area, lower level, curbside, contact one of the starters (customer services reps.) wearing a white shirt with "AIRPORT EXPRESS" in red on the back of the shirt and an emblem on the sleeve and over the breast pocket. Let the starter know what service you are interested in and he/she will assist you.
