Nassau Night Life

What's there to do for fun in the evening hours in Nassau? We are docking at 6 p.m. and will be staying overnight. Any suggestions of night life, etc?.....

Depends on what you like to do? You can go to the casinos, check out Marina Village, hit a club (Fluid Lounge, Cocktails and dreams, Waterloo), hang at Senor Frogs, play nite tennis, take a sunset cruise or check out Jay Mitchell at the Palm Court at the British Colonial Hilton.

There's a Jazz Club at Nassau Beach Hotel, R&B Lounge also at NBH. A native floor show at Kings and Knights at Cable Beach etc.

Depends on what you are into, and what nite your in town. Most clubs don't get any action until late in the evening on weekends. Senor Frogs is busy when the cruise ships are in port. Jay Mitchell plays every nite except Monday.

Scubbagirl,

What is Marina Village? To be more specific I like listening to live bands that play pop/rock or oldies.....nothing too wild with a too young crowd. I'm 42. I thank you so much for all your help.....whatever your suggestions, please let me know how to get there....thank you so much. Also, heard there was a Hard Rock Cafe??:)

Marina Village is the shops and restaurants near the marina at Atlantis, they usually have a band playing in the courtyard.

You might like Jay Mitchell at Palm Court (nearby Hilton). He sings local soca and calypso, but also Sam Cooke, Otis redding, Righteous Brothers, Marvin Gaye etc. There's a small dance floor.. in a lounge atmosphere. (not a bar). Small love seats and seating areas with table service.

It's my favorite entertainment. They start about 9pm. 2 drink minimum on the weekends.

Senor Frog is located on the wharf, just west of the dock (you'll see it from the ship).. Senor Frogs is located in the Hilton.. but you have to go around to the front entrance to get into the Palm Court (entrance). Just around the bend. You can easily see it from the ship.

I assume the Hilton and Palm Court are within walking distance of the ship, since you can see it from ship? Thanks for all your help! :) Oh, and is there a Hard Rock Cafe?

yes, there a hard rock cafe near the wharf. Charlotte Street.

Not the happening place it' s known to be. But it can be fun. It's mainly a burger joint.
