T&J Posted September 27, 2006 Author #352 Share Posted September 27, 2006 Tony, if the wine tasting includes Luce, can you make a note of the vintage? Thx. Shoots...we did have it but I can't remember the year...I will ask the Maitre'd in a couple of hours what year it was and get back to you on it. T&J Posted September 27, 2006 Author #353 Share Posted September 27, 2006 We just had an announcement from the bridge that we have gail force winds of 55 knots currently and will get worse as we are heading into heavy rain. Of course they have told us all to stay inside and not to go out onto deck. The ship is being tossed around quite a bit right now and a lot of people are feeling sick at the moment in the Internet Cafe so it should clear out any second in here!...hehheheeee At 7:30pm is the Private Elite Cocktail Reception until 8:15pm in the Pacific Lounge with the Captain and his Officers. I plan on attending this function. Will be going to Dinner after it and then maybe the "Office". More to follow later this evening from the Pacific Princess.... Druke I Posted September 27, 2006 #354 Share Posted September 27, 2006 "Gail force?" How about Gale?! Enjoy the ride, Tony. Gales can be pretty rough at times - but there are no guarantees at sea.

Hang on Tony!!! Will be interested in hearing how the Pacific Princess rides in heavy seas. Last April from SYD-SFO on the Diamond, we had 70 knot winds and 28 foot waves. Made for a great ride!! treesah Posted September 27, 2006 #358 Share Posted September 27, 2006 Tony, I've got to confess... I'm addicted to your postings. Vicarious living to the nth degree. Every morning I check PP's webcam and then find out what you're up to. Thanks for sharing your adventures. Now the questions... How do you get freshly squeezed OJ? I assume room service or did you bring your own portable OJ squeezer? What's the secret of your success at the "office"? Do you speak to the machines and more importantly, do they answer back? Or you're not a slot man? I'm very interested in your comments on Maldives.

T plays black jack and his bro plays baccaret . However they don't have that game on any cruise ships yet  . Mr. Envy either plays poker or blackjack on the ship or else he watches me give out my daily donations . lol T....what's up ??? Are you feeiling ill or just a little sea sick ? You get freshly squeezed OJ by merely asking for it - it is not reserved for special people - we get it all the time on any Princess ship - just ask and say "please". Since I have been on this ship all summer, the Head Waiters know me so I don't even have to ask for the fresh squeezed OJ...they just bring it. Otherwise you can ask for it and they will bring it for you in the Dinning Room but would be harder to obtain at the Buffet.Success in the "office" is very much cycle thing more than anything...sometimes you win and sometimes you loose....I don't play slots but blackjack only...I never talk to the cards because the cards have no ears!...hehheeeeTony
