I just returned from Nola this week. Many bar & restaurants are open & ready for the cruise ships & cruisers to return.

 

Margaritaville is off the Bourbon Street path & good for families traveling with children. Easy to take the Trolley down to the French Market & Margaritaville. Food is always good & entertainment in the bar is lots of fun. If you see Joe Bennett playing, be sure & say hello & tell him you are Cruise Critic members. Super nice guy & very talented musician who puts on a good show with lots of Jimmy Buffett music.

If you can find Margaritaville, you can find Coop's Place, which is just across the street. Much more authentic New Orleans, better food, and free WiFi to boot!

If you are ever in New Orleans checking out Margaritaville and you see that the "No Name Band" is playing. Stick around, you might just be very surprised who shows up to jam with the house band that night.
