Champagne in San Pedro?

so there

Recommended Posts

Do any of you know if there's a wine shop near the pier in San Pedro? We'd love to bring some champagne and wine on board (how cool that Princess allows this....NCL does not). We'll be flying to LA, and wine in our checked luggage is not an option. I don't look good in Cabernet. :D

You could go to the Ocean Market on North Harbor Boulevard, which is about a 10 minute stroll from the pier - N. Harbor runs parallel to the channel. Or you could have your cabbie stop at any grocery store along the way from the airport - Ralph's, Von's, Albertson's - they all carry a big selection of wine & champagne at much better prices, especially the sale items. Even if the cabbie's meter is running you'd probably do better charging through the supermarket than at Ocean.

That's the beauty of California's liquor laws - you can find the stuff just about anywhere. Cheers!

Took about three minutes looing on the web and got this info. No idea what they carry or if they are still in business. What else you want to know.

The last time we were there, as you walk out to the street from the terminal, go left and less than 1/4 mile is a small strip of stores that also had a rental car office. There was a liquor store(or a store that sold liquor in there).
