Suitcase storage while on board

We have a rather large rolling suitcase. If we bring it, is there a good place to store it in the room or should I pack a few softsides instead? Also, does anyone know what day they do the $20 laundry on a 7 night cruise? Thanks!;)

They offered it on the Dawn 7 night on Wednesday - returned laundry Friday evening. We did our own in the laundry room. The washers and dryers were free and the soap was $1. Was planning on doing the laundry thing for $20 but didn't have enough stuff to make it until Friday - hell we came home Sunday.

On the Star you had to turn it in by Thurs. There was no laundry room to do it yourself. If you are staying on vacation a few extra days or wk, it saves you from having to bring too many clothes.

We will actually be on the Sun doing the Alaska trip. Does anyone know about laundry on there? I understand there are not washer/dryers. Thanks.!

My advice is to buy more socks and undies. Face it, you will eventually need them anyway. My wife and I had no trouble packing enough clothes for 16 days in two large suitcases each.
