teelovescruising Posted September 19, 2006 #1 Share Posted September 19, 2006 We will be on the Elation 11/16/06. There are four "children" with us. (21,20,18,16). There are 3 adults over the age of 25. We had to book them in a room with each of usper Carnival's policy, yet the 21 and 20 year old will be in a room alone. The 16 year old will be in with two adults and the 18 year old will be with the other adult. When we sailed the Fascination we did this and just exchanged room keys as they are seperate from the S&S card. How do we handle this on the Elation? Can we ask the purser's desk to program the S&S card to the rooms we are switching to? Thanks
caribbean dreams Posted September 19, 2006 #2 Share Posted September 19, 2006 The pursers desk will give you an extra key for each cabin, you will still have your S&S card the the original cabin you are booked in.
bubbles1209 Posted September 19, 2006 #3 Share Posted September 19, 2006 On Elation, your sail & sign card is your door key. I'm sure the people at the purser's desk can help you straighten out which goes where, have a great time:)
ashcruizer Posted September 19, 2006 #4 Share Posted September 19, 2006 if you go down to the pursers desk and say that you will need a key for you husband, wife, sister, (any of the adults) to be able to get into your, their, his, hers, ect room they will issue one, on the newer ships they just scan you sns card and give you a blank issue room key. But on the older ships they don't have the magnetic strip so just ask for the above and if they have extras for issue then get them. Kind of a hassle but worth it to be able to come and go as you please.:)
