Is 11:00 after cruise flight from Tampa too early?

I have a chance to get a $98 flight from Tampa, after our April 1-8 cruise. Does anybody know how the Tampa terminal is as far as getting people out of there. I know it all depends if the ship pulls into port on time. But if everything goes right, would I be able to make an 11:00 flight out of the Tampa airport? I have friends picking us up at the terminal so ground transportation is not an issue.

It will be really close! I live in Tampa I've cruised Carnival twice in the last two years and while it did get to port by 8:00am, it took us until 10:00 to disembark. Now, there were some who were able to leave early, I can't remember the reason why but it may have been due to flights. Don't forget you then have to go through customs. It's only 15 min to the airport from the port. Tampa airport is really easy and quick compared to most others. I'd suggest you call Carnival and see what would enable you to get priorty. I do seem to recall, however, they suggest you don't book a flight prior to 2pm. Good luck!
