Freedom questions

We were there by 10:45 and could start boarding.

We brought water bottles in our packed luggage (not our carry on).

Most will say that the second formal night is really a semi-formal night.

We didn't really do any formal nights this cruise. We brought nice slacks, etc but didn't do the tux, suit or gown. We ate in Portofino's on the formal nights and it was lovely....not very crowded at all.

We boarded Freedom OTS at around eleven in June.

There were two nights designated as formal when we sailed on Freedom, but I honestly don't recall a night desginated "semi-formal." Often the second formal night is somehwhat less formal, but many do still wear tuxes and gowns. Royal Caribbean has never really designated the second formal night on its ships as "somewhat less formal", but that does seem to be the practice, at least on Caribbean cruises.

We just sailed on 9/10, and there were two formal nights. Like the other poster stated, the rest were casual.

We got to the port at 1030. We got on board around 1200. It would have been faster I believe, but there were 3 weddings on board that day, and they let all the wedding parties and their "day pass" guests board first. Overall, it moved very quickly.

I didn't bring coke and water, but many did without any problems.
