Requires Sunshine!

It will just depend on the time of day and which direction you're sailing in. We usually get a Cat. 8G and have ben on the Legend 3 times. You'll get plenty of sun, it just depends on which side of the ship you're on as to whether you get more traveling south or traveling north. It also depends on the time of year, whether the sun is higher in the sky as to how long you'll get sun. The only way to get around the port side/starboard side deal is to get an aft cabin, then you have sun most, if not all of the day. If you are port or starboard and don't have a lot of sun traveling south, you'll get more on the trip back and vice versa. The overhangs or recess don't have a lot to do with it, it really depends more on the direction of the ship. 8G is a great category and the Legend is a beautiful ship - I wouldn't worry - you'll have a great time.
