Sun out of New Orleans boarding question

For anyone who sailed on NCL out of New Orleans previously, I have a question about the boarding process. Do they make an announcement for a special Latitudes line? When we sailed on the Dawn out of NYC, they did so.

When we boarded in New Orleans (2004), I don't remember there being a seperate line for Latitude members. There was a line for the security screening & xray machines, but seem to think every one queued up into the same line.

 

Are NY's seperate lines for checking in, going thru security or ?

The first cruise out of New Orleans this season is October 15th. My only experience was arriving on the Dream when she repositioned there in 2003. It was very chaotic then. I'm on the October 22nd sailing of the Sun and I'll be sure and let you know what the situation is when I get back.

There was a separate boarding area when we sailed from NO ... line moved fast in both areas, however ... 20 minutes and we were on the pool deck!

we too are going on the 22nd departure from New Orleans.....see u all there....:D
