I need to book a cruise next spring/summer for

8 days or longer on Carnival. Can't afford europe. Afraid to do Caribbean because of hurricanes. Does anyone have any help for me? 2 adults and 2 kids. I don't want to cruise on another line but if Carnival has nothing what do I do? DH wants a cruise longer then 7 days.:eek:

I'm afraid you are out of luck for the summer, the only Carnival cruise you are going to find in the summer that is more than 7 days is the Caribbean. You may find a few in the spring months.

 

I have only cruised the Caribbean in the summer months and have never had a problem, I love cruising the Caribbean in the summer.

How about Alaska?

 

We just got back from a 8 day (Saturday to Saturday) cruise and had a fantastic time. Carnival goes out of Vancouver ... there are round trips from there and also one way north or one way south.

Spring and early summer shouldn't be a problem for hurricanes. Hurricane season begins June 1 and very rarely are there hurricanes in June or July. You might want to check out our CC group - we go for 8 days out of New York on June 12 - I don't have the least bit of concern that we will be affected by hurricanes.

If one should come along, I'll personally sit through it with all of you!! :D
