NE/Canada Port or Starboard?

We're planning on booking the Carnival Victory 5 night cruise. Would a port or starboard cabin be better for a balcony? Does it make a difference?

In my opinion, there's not much of a difference. You'll probably dock starboard side to in Saint John and port side to in Halifax. If you like dockside views, I thought the two ports were comparable. The harbor-side view in Halifax is very nice, though - you get a great view of George's Island and a fair amount of harbor traffic. Hope this helps!

Thanks Kathy. I sort of figured it didn't make as much difference as on our NB Alaska cruise.
