Has anyone been to Pedro's Castle?

What has your experience been like?

 

How much would it cost for a cab there? Are Cabs waiting outside to take you back to the port?

Pedro's castle is beautiful and we enjoyed seeing it. It is quite a distance from the pier and I think would cost quite a bit for a cab ride. You might be better off finding an excursion that goes there or renting a car.

When did you visit Pedro St. James? I'm seeing some posts on various travel sites that it is closed for renovations / repairs. I'd like to visit on my trip in December. I was planning to take a cab, but it sounds like it might be a bit expensive. HELP!

We saw it about four years ago -- hope you can enjoy it. We really liked the turtle farm also but that's on the other side of the island. If you don't want to do the beach or stingrays you might want to rent a car. I know you'll have a good time.
