cruiser05 Posted July 12, 2004 #2 Share Posted July 12, 2004 On a 3 and 4 say I think they are $10. On a % day they were $20. On a 7 day i think they might be $35 to $40. Not sure on 7 day or longer. TM
pnjkeith Posted July 12, 2004 #3 Share Posted July 12, 2004 I think we paid $27 last time on a 7 day cruise.

ukcruisefan Posted July 12, 2004 #5 Share Posted July 12, 2004 I am an avid diet coke drinker and always buy one...If you drink several a day, they are worth the cost.
kajsb Posted July 12, 2004 #6 Share Posted July 12, 2004 I'm also an avid diet coke drinker. For me, the best way is to take an ice chest packed full of my diet coke stash. I check it with my luggage. For $5, I can buy a full case of diet coke.
TomD Posted July 12, 2004 #7 Share Posted July 12, 2004 I would hate to have to tote around a case of soda. Just by the card. You are paying for the convenience more than the soda.
kajsb Posted July 12, 2004 #8 Share Posted July 12, 2004 Everyone should do what is most convenient for themselves. For me, it was by far having the canned sodas in my cabin on ice or in the refrigerator whenever I wanted one. For me, having to go to the bar to ask for a soda and often only getting a cup, not a can, was very inconvenient. But that is my opinion for my situation. SATXLady Posted July 13, 2004 #9 Share Posted July 13, 2004 Surprisingly, this information is available on the Carnival web site in the FAQ, hidden under the topic "What Is the Fountain Fun Card?". http://www.carnival.com/CMS/FAQs/Fountain_Fun_Card.aspx We will offer to all guests the option to purchase a "Fountain Fun Card" which will allow them unlimited soft drinks for the duration of the cruise at a one time purchase price (including gratuities). The "Fountain Fun Card" can be purchased at any bar on board the ship. In all locations where beverage service is offered, guests may receive a glass of the soft drink of their choice - one glass will be served at a time and only to the guest whose name appears on the card. The card cannot be used through room service. NOTE: A 15% gratuity will automatically be added on at the time of purchase of the Fountain Fun Card. Cost for guests under 18 = $4 per day Cost for guests over 18 = $5.50 per day Free soft drinks in the dining room for children under the age of 12 is still in effect whether they have purchased a "Fountain Fun Card" or not. jima53 Posted July 13, 2004 #10 Share Posted July 13, 2004 Found I don't drink as many sodas on a cruise so I will bring one 12 pack for a 7 day cruise. I drink more ice tea and coffee, especially if the gourmet coffee counter has some good sweets. We enjoyed the counter on the Miracles and only used the sodas in the stateroom refrigerator when we needed a carbonation buzz. Jim
