CruiseGranny Posted June 16, 2007 #26 Share Posted June 16, 2007 Just found this site that let's you watch a sample towel animal video. Neat! How to make a towel animal I checked it out and it's VERY homemade quality. You can learn it but not in great detail or quality. Still think the DVDs I bought from http://www.FoldingMagic.com are leaps and bounds better. The towel origami on the DVDs actually look like what they are supposed to be. I recall I got them in the mail the very next day. Able to do all of them now with no problem and my grandkids LOVE them. Think they have a free sample video on their site also. Hope they come out with volume #3 soon. Shirley
Guest maler Posted June 21, 2007 #27 Share Posted June 21, 2007 I thought that was one of the things that everyone missed! I haven't seen it in a number of years but always thought it was a great touch. We took photos of each animal every night.

bipolarone Posted September 20, 2012 #29 Share Posted September 20, 2012 On the Statendam a class was offered free of charge. An illustrated book was available for $10- $12. Every evening we found our beds turned down, chocolates on pillows, schedule of next day's festivities and a lovingly fashioned towel critter. I bought the book and have been rewarded with smiles and giggles from young and old receipients of my critter creations.
