Back-to-back RCI and Princess in Fort Lauderdale

We've booked the Enchantment of the Seas and Coral Princess back-to-back from Port Everglades. We'll need to get from the Enchantment to the Coral on the same day. I'm wondering about the logistics of getting from one ship to the other.

All of our luggage is easy rolling and we don't mind a little work. I don't remember the port layout. Is it even possible to walk from one ship to another? Should we get a taxi and promise to tip big so the driver doesn't kick us clear to the Coral?

I'm sure we're not the first to do this, so I appreciate any advice.

I have done this and taken a cab from one pier to the other, it really depends where each ship is located but we had too much luggage to walk with and it was not within walking distance anyway. I would suggest when you get off the first ship you can get a cab and the driver should know where your other ship is docked.
