Beach question

We are looking to go to Boatyard beach. Any info about the Boatyard would be appreciated and photos.I have seen some photos on this site and it looks a bit crowded. And I know Barbados has alot of beautiful beaches, is this one of them? Thank you..

Just got back from a day visit to The Boatyard on Barbados. Taxi was $4 pp from the pier to the beach. The taxi ride was a hair-raising experience thru the town! Boatyard is nice, $15 pp entrance fee. This covers a lounge chair , one drink and the taxi back to the ship. An umbrella is $2 more. Beach was clean, facilities ok. We didn't eat there. We were the only ship in port so the beach was not crowded.
