Recommendations? deck 8 or deck 6 Promenade room???

We currently have an deck 8 promenade room midship. A promenade on deck 6 midship just opened up.

 

Which do you think would be better? deck 8 or deck 6?

 

I thought deck 8 might be too high to see much, but thought deck 6 might be noisier?

Deck 8 for the height perspective. You will have to decide your priorities. But, if you are going to be watching the Promenade from your room, you shouldn't be too concerned about the noise. Take deck 8 for less noise then, as the promenade activities are best seen up close and personal.

I always prefer a deck that is between decks with cabins rather than public areas. It's just my belief that these cabins will have less noise to contend with. To that end I'd pick deck 8 if it were me.
