C-U-ONBOARD Posted September 27, 2006 #1 Share Posted September 27, 2006 Ok so I am wanting a late seating for dinner, and have requested such. But I understand that it is only a request and I could get the early seating. If in fact that happened, is switching to a late seating possible or would they not allow it? yst347 Posted September 27, 2006 #2 Share Posted September 27, 2006 You can try to change your seating. You can only do it after boarding. The Maitre'D will have hours set for this purpose during the afternoon of boarding day. You must go see him, request a change. He will tell you he will try and ask you to dine where you are scheduled that evening. The next day you will be notified of the change. This is how it almost allways happens. I have not heard of anyone that wasn't accomodated but I'm sure it has happened.
Cruzman Posted September 27, 2006 #3 Share Posted September 27, 2006 Since I always request early seating, and have been ocassionally assigned late seating, I either just grin and bear it or, as has been suggested, track down the maitre 'd and request a change. Don't ask for a change at the purser's desk; all you will get is the run-around. If it's important, I slip the M'd 5 or 10 bucks and he has always been very accommodating!
