If I get to cruise soon, it may be a last minute decision..I was wondering if there is a good place to check for tropical storms/hurricanes that may be brewing that we can check before making reservations?? I checked the link on the cc homepage, but it didn't show satellite and such, just lots of lingo...I'm a simple girl...just tell me where I can and can not cruise! lol :p

For good discussion of storms, try:

http://www.accuweather.com

They always explain why they think something is going to happen.

If a storm appears, you will notice that everyone talks about the various computer models and what they predict. To look at those, try:

http://www.wunderground.com

then go to the Tropical/Hurricane center and check out the various computer models. They vary greatly, especially when the storm is still well out in the ocean. However, they give you a general idea of what people are expecting. (Things like lows and highs over both land and sea determine where the storm is expected to go, and whether it will develop or dissipate.)

We're past the statistical height of the season (September 14th)!
