tisabee Posted October 1, 2006 #1 Share Posted October 1, 2006 I have so enjoyed these boards & have gotten such great info. I just can't remember reading anything about tendering in Jamaica. We have booked an excursion through Barrett Adventures (another great tip from this board) and they'd like us off the ship as early as possible. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks! mustwork2cruise Posted October 1, 2006 #2 Share Posted October 1, 2006 Nope you don't tender in Montego Bya. I suggest being up early to watch the ship dock quiet a site to see actually. You do tender in Grand Cayman and Cozumel though.
tisabee Posted October 1, 2006 Author #3 Share Posted October 1, 2006 Thank you so much! We had planned on getting up early (another great tip from these boards) to watch this as we have our first balcony cabin this trip. I appreciate the help. gazingm42 Posted October 1, 2006 #7 Share Posted October 1, 2006 But from Montego Bay they goto Grand Cayman then to Cozumel. Thus why I asked the question to the board

Cruzman Posted October 1, 2006 #9 Share Posted October 1, 2006 In Jamaica you do Tender. But I thought I read that the pier in Cozumel that it would be open by Sept 27, 2006? Any one have info on this? Been to Mobay and Ocho Rios a number of times and we never tendered ashore.
GoinCruisin Posted October 1, 2006 #10 Share Posted October 1, 2006 But from Montego Bay they goto Grand Cayman then to Cozumel. Thus why I asked the question to the board There are apparently now 2 piers open (one apparently JUST opened)... the Carnival pier (Puerto Maya) is still about at least 18 months from being opened... we'll know in 2 weeks if we tender or dock. We are only there with one other ship, so I'm hoping we dock. And no, you don't tender in Mo Bay as mentioned...
love2travel2006 Posted October 1, 2006 #11 Share Posted October 1, 2006 When we were on the Liberty in February, we docked in Ochos Rios.
