I know that irons for clothes are not allowed...but are curling irons/straightning irons for hair allowed? I am guessing they are but just to be sure...

Yes they are....but be sure to unplug them after use.

Yes, I don't go anywhere without my curling iron!! No problem! And most of them have hair dryers already in the bathroom, I think.

Absolutely :) Bring a power strip, there is only one outlet in the room.

I always bring my own blow dryer, the ships dryer in the draw I always had problems unplugging and was not quite long enough for me to use

As others have said, bring a power strip. The one outlet just isn't enough.

 

The ship staff is very concerned about electrical fire due to overloaded circuits. They do not want to see any electrical heating devices.

 

No problems, just unplug them and put them in a drawer after they have cooled.

They also have those nifty curling irons that turn themselves off now. I bought one of them and it is awesome, now I never have to worry! Very inexpensive too.
