Rare tjunmin Posted October 10, 2006 #1 Share Posted October 10, 2006 I was wondering if anyone has done tours with Island Safari Barbados? I'm interested in your experiences with the "Adventure Safari" (the island's most popular tour) and the "Land & Sea Safari" (the best of both worlds). I looked through the board (as early as January of this year) and did not find any reviews. Thanks in advance!
ajbrath8077 Posted October 10, 2006 #2 Share Posted October 10, 2006 My fiance is from barbados and one year on our vacation there, we took the Adventureland safari tour . IT WAS THE BEST! i would do it again in a heartbeat! Lots of fun, great tour of the entire island and good lunch. plus we got a bottle of rum!!! cruisingbajan Posted October 12, 2006 #3 Share Posted October 12, 2006 tjunmin....ajbrath8077 is correct, the adventureland tour is VERY good, I have been on it personally and would not hesitate to go again. I have heard that the Island Safari tour is pretty good as well from persons who have been. You can't loose either way....just go with which on is more "economically pleasing";):D I hope you enjoy your visit to the island.
CVL105 Posted October 12, 2006 #4 Share Posted October 12, 2006 Did you have to book this through the cruise line? Or did you book independently? Thanks!
Rare tjunmin Posted October 15, 2006 Author #5 Share Posted October 15, 2006 Thanks for your replies. I had not heard about the Adventureland Safari tour before. One more option to to complicate my decision process. Chelsea, the sea portion of the Island Safari Barbados "Land & Sea Safari" is operated by Tiami catamaran, which is the same one offered by RCI. The land portion is an add-on offered by Island Safari Barbados. I don't know if this complete tour can be booked through RCI. I was planning on booking it independently. Rare blueslily Posted December 9, 2006 #6 Share Posted December 9, 2006 I'm interested in this tour. I would like to book it on my own. Is that possible? Does anyone know the Web site address?
