luggage

If I'm correct, you can only carry on what will fit through the x-ray scanners. There should be porters at the dock who will gladly take your luggage and be able to answer your questions. I'm not exactly sure how this works because we've always flown in the day of the cruise and used the Carnival transfers to the port. They've loaded our luggage onto a truck and the next time we saw it, it was in the hallway outside our cabin door.

We fly in a day or two early for our cruises and usually take a taxi to the port. If the luggage is the size of a carry on that could be carried onto a plane you can take it on with you. If it is any larger it will not fit through the scanners and there will be plenty of porters to handle it for you.
