Best Caye for the day

We will be in port one day in a couple weeks and were wondering about a nice beach to head out to for the day. Do shuttles run from the cruise terminal?

Here is a link to a Caye in Belize. You can leave from your ship on some cruise lines Carnival, NCL maybe more email them and ask about your ship. I will be there 10/19.

Can anyone caompare Caye Caulker to Bannister Island. You can catch a ferry from the dock to get to Caye Caulker. How do you get to Bannister Island? Can you catch a ferry from the dock, or do you need to arrange it through the cruise line, or ??? Any other Cayes that anyone would recommend?
