Shawnee Indian Posted October 13, 2006 #1 Share Posted October 13, 2006 We will be in town on Friday November 3rd aboard the Norwegian Spirit. We have been to the Wild Life Reserve and Folkstone Marine Park... Harrison's Cave is Closed... We have no interest in a touristy beach... *********************************************************** Any Suggestions? ******************************************************** We were thinking of taking a cab to Oistins. Do the ZR's - blue or yellow run there? What would cab fare be? ($US) Once there - Who and where are the best "local" vendors? I have this place pictured like "Fish Fry" or Arawak Cay in the Bahama's??? Am I correct? Goldies - Twin Brothers - etc... ******************************************************

Yes.... the ZR's(which are actually white with a maroon stripe) and the Minibuses(which are blue and yellow) both go there. A cab would probably cost you about $15-$20 US. All the vendors have some pretty tasty fare so it is hard to pinpoint who is the best but the person I frequent mostly is a lady by the name of "Roz." I've never been to the Bahamas so I don't know what they have there. I hope you enjoy your visit to the island.
