MurfAtHome Posted October 14, 2006 #1 Share Posted October 14, 2006 I have spent the last few hours searching for pics of the aft balconies on carnival legend. I also searched the CC threads. We have 7302 and it looks like the aft balconies aren't any deeper than the side balc. is this true? we so enjoyed our aft on splendour on RCCl due to the depth of it. Any insight would be appreciated.
caribbean dreams Posted October 14, 2006 #2 Share Posted October 14, 2006 Yes, the aft balconies are deeper than the side balconies, much more leg space to stretch out.
MurfAtHome Posted October 15, 2006 Author #3 Share Posted October 15, 2006 that's good to know. The aft balc. on the splendour were approx. 10ft deep X 9 ft wide... are we talking the same? We had a table and two chairs and two chase loungers. The chase could be turned long ways and still have plenty of room. Thanks for the info
MrPete Posted October 15, 2006 #4 Share Posted October 15, 2006 Not quite! We had this cabin on the Pride The "extended" part is lost unter the rail, due to the slope of the back of the ship. And there is no cover/shade/privacy/protection if it rains. Except for the views, I found no benefit. Deck 4 would be a better choice.
MurfAtHome Posted October 15, 2006 Author #5 Share Posted October 15, 2006 thanks Pete. the pictures really helped. They are alot smaller than the other afts we have been on :( . We have a large family so the balcony is where we all hang out. the rest of the kids are in inside rooms.
