232271 Posted October 18, 2006 #2 Share Posted October 18, 2006 Hi yall. Can you tell me what the weight limit is on parasailing at Paradise Island? Just really would like to do that but don't know if I'll be able to ....190# or so.....;) I sent an email off to the place we are using in Cozy, and will let you know if we hear from them regarding this. I believe you will be fine as we are doing tandem and our combined weight would be 205 and we were not told we could not do this. But just to be safe I will let you know what they say. https://www.cozumelcruiseexcursions.com/ParasailingSecureReservation.htm here is the link in case you want to look into it. knuts Posted October 22, 2006 #4 Share Posted October 22, 2006 We were in the bahamas a few years ago and my son in law and daughter went, their combined weight is at least 400# and they had a blast. They were not turned away.
LHP Posted October 25, 2006 #5 Share Posted October 25, 2006 Just make sure they use the platform method that is attached to the back of the boat where they wrench you out and back in...and not the beach take off. Many say the platform method is safer because they have more control !!!
