JillLynn Posted October 17, 2006 #1 Share Posted October 17, 2006 I am bringing four 17 and 18 year old high school seniors on a trip on the Spirit in May 07. Can anyone tell me if there will be much for them to do, since they are not old enough to drink, and too old for the teen clubs? What would you suggest they do while on board? jp2001 Posted October 17, 2006 #2 Share Posted October 17, 2006 I was travelling solo, I'm not a heavy drinker and there was always so many options to choose from. Here are some examples: Library Internet Café (watch out, this is expensive) Spa Treatment Gym Walk-a-mile every morning Aerobic Classes (fee) Ping Pong tables Trivia Games such as family feud, newlyed not so newlyed Shows Lectures Movies (shown in the conference room) Pool Hut tubs Golf driving nets Pool Games/party They can also just relax by the pool or watching the see from a lounge, sipping a non-alcoholic drink (if you sign for it, your 18 years old can be allowed to order beer and wine, one glass at a time). I think there is also a video arcade but I'm not 100% sure on this one
hamiltito Posted October 17, 2006 #3 Share Posted October 17, 2006 18 year olds can indeed drink wine and beer on Norwegian with parental permission. Even if they don't have permission, they should be plenty entertained on board between pools, athletic facilities, shows, activities, etc.
