Has anyone done the Dune Buggy Excursion?

Is it worth $89 each?

Would it be a fun day for a 5 year old boy?

Hi, we did the dune buggy tour. You have to share a dune buggy if you are only a party of 2. It's a long tour, and the sun is incredibly intense.

The snorkeling was nearby, which was fun. They stop at this strange little shop called the 'pee pee" station, which was um, scary.

The ride is long..and I think a child would become frustrated and hot..so, I dont think this is something for a child to do. we had a fantastic time though and came back tired and sunburned!!

Do you remember if the buggys had an automatic transmission or standard? I can't drive stick.
