Storyeum in Vancouver Closes

For those of you who loved Storyeum in Vancouver, BC it closed it's doors last night due to financial problems.

 

In early August, they filed for bankruptcy protection until October 3, 2006 - this was extended until October 28, 2006. Last night they decided to close the doors for good.

 

They are looking for investors. They also owe the City of Vancouver $5,000,000 in back rent on the property.

 

A sad day for Vancouver tourism.

I'm so sorry to hear this news. My husband and I visited a couple of years ago and found it to be wonderful and so unique. I hope they find the investors they are looking for.
