Cozumel beach with kayaks and is FREE

The last time I went to Cozumel, I went to Chankanaab beach and was a little disappointed. This time I plan on going to Paradise Beach after hearing all of the rave reviews about it in the ports of call section under Cozumel. After much research, this is what I found out about Paradise Beach. The things that are free are:

lounge chairs

umbrellas

snorkel equipment

floatie mats

hammocks

kayaks and all non-motorized water sports

Entrance to the park is free. There are always waiters walking around and asking if you want a drink. So you can sit and soak up the sun and have a foo-foo drink if you want to. I have heard a lot of good about the restaurants there on the beach too. They also have water trampolines if you're into that. If you want more info. you can go to http://www.cozumel-beach.com and do a little more research. I hope this helps. Happy cruising everybody!

We had an excellent time at Paradise Beach. The kayaaks were indeed free...to use the snorkel equipment you just had to give a $10 deposit (which we got back when we turned in the equipment). We had some really good fajitas there and I loved the guacomole (didn't think I would like it). Everyone is really nice there.

Playa del sol beach has free beach chairs, and all non-motorized "toys" for free also. They charge and admission price, but one price includes an open bar & buffet and another price is just open bar both include all the freebies. CCL does sell an excursion to Play Del Sol.

We really did not like Playa Sol AT ALL. Paid $75 for 2 of us... sure, it included drinks (the most horrible alcohol I have ever had... i notch up from toilet water) and the buffet was almost as bad... you could pay extra for premium drinks and food... what is the point of paying $75 then? The chairs were free... but they were horrible chairs... it was a huge disappointment for us... we won't be going back...

I love Playa Sol... we just take a taxi out there and pay the $8-10 entrance fee. The beach is beautiful, and they have the flea market, zoo, restaurants, bars, water trampolines, ice berg climbing wall. We have been there 3 times, and loved it every time. I dont do the package... of course you get watered down drinks.
