parking in tampa

I tried to get an answer on the gulf departure boards, but no one answered or did not know....So I'll try here...We are departing from Tampa on the Legend this Jan....I understand there is a valet service to park your car for $20 extra....great idea, but can anyone tell me who and where do you pay? is there a booth, do you pay the valet, or do you go to the parking lot to pay(foolish)? thanks referee

When you the terminal area keep to your left this will be where you will see the valet parking booth - you will leave your car with an attendant and he will park it across the street - when you pull up the attendant will give you a ticket and you go to the parking booth and pay. When you come back they have a booth outside of the terminal building, you will give them your ticket, but you will have to walk across the street to get your car, they will tell you what level to go to, there an attendant will have your car open and waiting for you and even have the a/c on - it is great and convenient - have done this for two cruises. Be sure to tip the parking attendant - I always give him $5 to be sure my car gets tender loving care!
