Regal questions

Even though the Regal has only traditional dining, does it still have automatic tipping?

We have a group of 14 - how is seating in the dining room? Will we be able to have 2 tables close with the same wait staff so we can switch around?

Does anyone have experience with disembarking in Acapulco? We would like to take a Princess tour which includes airport drop off but this can't be reserved online. We'd like to book this ASAP to make sure we get it - how do we go about it?

Thanks for your assistance.

You need to speak to the maitre d' as soon as you board. I assume all of you have the same dining time? If you switch around seats at meals, this will confuse your waiters, so be patient with them, please. When we sailed in 2003, a lady at our table suffered from memory loss. The rest of us humored her, and helped her remember when her food came that, yes, she had ordered that. She was a lovely lady! When she would insist on changing seats, we had to help the wait staff know who's meal went where. :) The first night might be confusing. Princess will take care of you.

As suggested, see the Maitre'd the first day when you embark on the ship to get two tables close to each other.

I've disembarked before in Acapulco and that tour can only be booked while you are on-board. Go to the tour office on the first day and explain the large group you have and to pre-reserve it.

The auto-tipping is on every ship and if you are more than satisfatied or disatisfied with the level of service you received while onboard you can adjust this $10.00 per day per person at the Purser's desk.

One of my group had another question - since we aren't leaving San Juan until 11:00pm, are the dinner dining times normal the first night? He has a flight that doesn't get in until after 7:00pm and although it looks like we will have late seating he was just wondering.
