Corkage Fee on NCL ships?

Does NCL charge a corkage fee at dinner time to open the bottle of wine you brought with you from home? If they do how much is it? Is tip added to the fee?

You need NCL's permission to bring any alcohol on board the ship. If they grant it, I believe they are charging $10.00 if you bring it to the Dinning rooms....

We didn't get permission in advance (although you are supposed to). We tried "smuggling" by packing the bottles in our checked luggage. When we were "caught" our bottles were confiscated labled with our cabin number, stored in the wine cellar and brought to our table when we asked.
