Casino on the Dawn

We're thinking of booking the Dec. 17th, 11 nights, on the Dawn. How good or bad are the casino payouts? We're interested in the slots. How large is the casino, etc. Any info is appreciated.

Just got back from sailing on the Dawn. (10/15-10/22)The Casino is actually nice.They have slots from one cent to $100. I saw several people hitting well. They 25 cent machines seemed to pay pretty good for us but I can't say they will for everyone. :) One can only hope. Casino has a good selection but it is not largeby any means. Have read that NCL has the best casinos at sea.

We've hit well a few times on the Dawn slots and also on the Jewel.

 

I play two machines at the same time, last month I hit on both machines at the same time on the Dawn:)

We just returned from the Dawn too (10/15-10/22). I was playing mostly 25 cent slots and the first night, hit $80 and only played with $8.00. The second night (while playing with their money) I hit for another $60.00 within the first 10 minutes. I don't know if it was a fluke or not, but this was my experience. The night after that, I hit for $100 but by the 5th or 6th night, I had given it all back! It was so much fun though! They also have a free pull every night to win a 7 day cruise or a free slot pull. We played the $1.00 slots a few times and lost pretty quickly. I never saw anyone win "BIG MONEY" but it was a full house every night. The casino is not large at all but we always found a machine even during the busy hours. There was one machine (I forget what it was called) but it was a black machine with a screen on it next to a pillar (25 cent machine) in the same row as the Cash Advance slot machine that I kept winning on. Every time I went there, someone was on it hitting something and I just waited around for my turn. It was one of those "Bonus Play" machines. I always go with the attitude that I hope I win, but I'm going to have fun either way. Have fun!!! It was a great trip!!!
