"loading" Seapass Card-Amex. Trav. Checks??

Recommended Posts

I'm sure they will treat trav. checks just like cash to "pre-load" the card. Probably the best thing to do is register the Seapass card on your credit card then during the week, use the travelers checks to reduce (or pay off) the outstanding balance on the card. All you will need to do is go by the Guest Relations desk to do this.

BaumD,

What do you mean by register credit card? Will they authorize or put a hold for a certain amount or just run it like they would for a bar tab? Trying to manage $$ this time as last cruise on VOS wife and I went a little crazy. Thanks for the help.

RCCL will put a HOLD on a ceratain dollar limit on your credit card when you give it to them. Thats why if you use a debit card, you can have a temp hold on money in that account for a period of 5-6 days, which means you do not have access to it.
